Spent too much

Well, this week I took a trip down to the NEC in Birmingham to visit the Autumn Fair. It's a big ol' trade fair & you'll be glad to know I spent plenty of cash. Can't wait to get my new stuff, look out for updates.

Lush Lush Lush

After a very busy summer, my wee shop was looking a wee bit empty, fear not though, I've just had plenty of new deliveries. First out of the boxes were these gorgeous doorstops. They are so cute & really brighten the place up, however they are proving very popular (probably due to the fact they're only £15) so I don't think they'll be around for long.

Shake it, Elfis!

Aw, how cute is wee Elfis, knew as soon as I seen these cards (shown to me by the lovely Jocelin) that I had to have them. They are by Freckleface & are just so fun & pretty. I've also got packs of invites & thank you cards & a "It's Twins" card, coz is it just me or is everyone having twins lately?

These have been such a hit over the summer that I'm having to order more, but that's no great surprise given that they are soooo cute. Not only is it fashionable, it's a highly absorbent dribble bib with a unique double-layered backing system that draws moisture away from the skin to stop soreness & chaffing

Everyone's An Old Bag

This is the fabulousness that is an "Old Bag Company" bag. This one here is called Charlotte, there's also an Ellie, Sophie & Burtie. These are absolutely brilliant & I have them in my shop! They are waterproof & machine washable. I call my Sophie Bag the TARDIS on account of it having so much room.

Busy Busy Busy

Well that's another Easter past in Elie, & boy was it busy! Probably owed in part to the gorgeous weather. The shop's beginning to look a wee bit empty but fear not, have my eye on plenty of new things to bring in. Already got in some new jewellery by Gourlay. Fused glass with Harris Tweed, it may sound odd but it really works. Also some fused glass pieces without the tweed, if it's not your thing. All handmade by Gourlay in Kincardine. Will post some pics when I remember my camera.

So if you were anywhere near Elie last summer, chances are you bought one of these, they are nautical storage bags & are brilliant. Super strong & massive, my sister used one to transport all her junk back to uni.......now that's a test

Visited by the lovely Kirsty (a.k.a Lovely Pigeon) last week who spends her time working her fingers to the bone to hand sew these lovely "upcycled" brooches & hairclips using old buttons.
